Deployment of our generic MALE virtual drone simulator (UAV-X) as well as our staff specialized in piloted simulation for the benefit of the Bold Quest community
By the end of October 2020, CS-GROUP via its Business Line NCO (Network Centric Operations) had the honor to be involved, thanks to the French Air and Space Force, in an active contribution to the international exercise BOLDQUEST 2020- 2 from its Mont de Marsan Air base facility (AWC / CEAM).
CS GROUP role consisted in the provision of our generic MALE virtual drone simulator (UAV-X) as well as our staff specialized in piloted simulation for the benefit of the Bold Quest community.
This biannual exercise allows Live, Virtual and Constructive platforms (LVC) to work together, while providing allied nations with an interoperability melting pot in the «Joint Fires» domain.
It thus supports, on a continuous basis, the acquisition and sharpening of individual and collective skills in the field of distributed simulation and combatant support.
The use of new technologies, such as virtual or augmented realities or the digitization of Close Air Support (DaCAS), makes this exercise the essential joint and combined testbed for Forces but also for supporting industries.
This multinational and multi-site collaborative exercise (USA, Netherlands and France) demonstrated the interoperability of the piloted simulation solutions offered by CS GROUP. In addition, the richness of the exchanges carried out during this exercise provided our team with new elements enabling.
